Account information

When you create an Offtime account, we may collect information such as your email address, name, authentication information, and account preferences.

Provider information

If you provide computing resources to Offtime, we may collect information about your device that is necessary to operate the service, including device identifiers, hardware capabilities, operating system information, availability, connection status, health information, workload status, and earnings.

We do not access unrelated personal files, photos, documents, browsing history, or other personal content on your device.

Workload information

If you submit a workload to Offtime, we collect the information and files necessary to process that workload, provide the requested result, and maintain the service.

Depending on the workload, your data may be transmitted to and processed on a third-party provider device participating in the Offtime network.

You should not submit sensitive, confidential, or regulated information unless Offtime explicitly indicates that the applicable workload supports it.

Payment information

Payments and payouts are processed through Stripe and Stripe Connect. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers.

Stripe may collect additional information, including identity and tax information, when required to process payments or payouts and comply with applicable financial regulations.

Usage and analytics information

We may collect information about how you interact with Offtime, including pages viewed, features used, device/browser information, and similar product analytics.

We use PostHog and other infrastructure providers to help operate and improve Offtime.

We use information to:

• provide and operate Offtime;
• match workloads with available computing resources;
• execute and return workloads;
• manage accounts and authentication;
• process payments and payouts;
• calculate usage, earnings, and platform fees;
• detect fraud, abuse, and security issues;
• troubleshoot and improve the service;
• communicate with you about Offtime; and
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or transmit information with service providers that help us operate Offtime, such as hosting, analytics, infrastructure, and payment providers.

We may also transmit workload information to participating provider devices when necessary to execute a workload you submitted.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect the security of Offtime or its users, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect our rights.

Offtime is a distributed computing network. When you submit a workload, the workload may be processed on a computer operated by another Offtime provider.

Because provider devices are independently operated computers, Offtime cannot guarantee that information processed on a provider device is inaccessible to that device’s operator.

For this reason, you should not submit sensitive or confidential information to workloads that are not specifically designed to protect it.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Offtime, maintain security, process transactions, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain appropriate business records.

We aim to delete temporary workload data when it is no longer required to provide the requested service.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information we process.

However, no internet service or computer system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

We may need to retain certain information where required by law or where we have a legitimate business, security, accounting, or fraud-prevention reason to do so.

Offtime is intended for people who are 18 years of age or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

Offtime uses third-party services to operate parts of the platform, including:

• Stripe and Stripe Connect for payments and payouts
• PostHog for product analytics
• Vercel for hosting and infrastructure

These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Offtime evolves. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
